Advisor - She is a managing consultant for the Innovation Management and Strategy practice at Deutsche Telekom' Group's Detecon Inc. in Silicon Valley. Prior to this role, she was director of Strategic Technology Services at the Pricewaterhouse Coopers Technology Centers in Menlo Park and London. She initiated their global technology due diligence practice and contributed to numerous thought leadership publications including PwC's Technology Forecast series of books.
At Stanford University she held various positions including senior
technologist, program director, enterprise IT director and project
manager and began her career as a software engineer at National Semiconductor. With her Stanford colleagues, she was a co-founder and project director for a successful startup - JBC Online, now HotWire Press, a premier provider of digital peer-reviewed academic and scholarly publications in science, technology and medicine. She was also responsible for developing Stanford's
first Intranet site - Portfolio - in April 1994.
Ann’s graduate degree is from Stanford University, where she researched in FM synthesis at the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Lab and her BA is from State University of New York (SUNY). She has authored numerous thought leadership articles and presentations on new and emerging technologies and related business issues.
